Yoga for students
Dec 18th, 2007 by Academics Plus Tutoring
So, if you’ve been reading our blogs, you know we’re pretty into meditation. If you come for coaching at our center, you know we’re pretty into yoga. And if you know us personally, you know that we love to share information. Today, we’d like to share some information about a center that provides yoga and meditation classes for children and adults.
What is so special about Yogagaia is that it offers children the opportunity to start practicing yoga and become aware of the concepts of mindfulness and the mind-body connection. The founder, Hasita Nadai who is also a biologist and geologist and was trained in ‘deep ecology,’ encourages her students to reconnect to the planet earth. To facilitate this process she shares fascinating stories of the universe that capture the interest of her students and allow them to form their own personal connection to the planet upon which they live.
We encourage you to check out the yogagaia website to learn more about the center and get a sense of Hasita’s view on the practice of yoga, meditation, and yogagaia, which is about practicing life itself.
Our goal is to make this blog the most helpful and informative blog on Academic Success and SAT preparation. To do this, we need your help, so please give us your feedback and make comments to our blog!!
