Here is another excerpt from our book, The SAT Success System Personal Workbook. Stay tuned as we continually post entries from our personal and academic SAT preparation books; each entry will offer tips, hints and strategies on how to achieve SAT success.
Acknowledge your Successes
The more you recognize your successes, the more your mind will be conditioned to expect and experience success. In addition to learning new words, increasing your mathematical abilities and sharpening your critical thinking skills, you will be training and conditioning your mind to achieve success. By recognizing your successes daily, you will get your mind used to thinking in a different way. Look for progress in any area, mark it down and celebrate it! For example: I learned 5 new vocabulary words today.
For example: I got up early and reviewed my SAT notes.
For example: I took a practice SAT test today.
For example: I took 5 deep breaths today.
For example: I chose to focus on my accomplishments today.
Our goal is to make this blog the most helpful and informative blog on Academic Success and SAT preparation. To do this, we need your help, so please give us your feedback and make comments to our blog!!
