What are the SAT IIs and what skills do they measure?
Jan 11th, 2008 by Academics Plus Tutoring
SAT subject tests are exams that measure a student’s proficiency in a particular subject. SAT subject test scores are used by colleges and universities to determine qualified applicants. As such, these exams can play a significant role in your child’s college application package. Because some schools require 3, others 2 and others, none at all, it is important to do research and identify those colleges your child is interested in attending, so that he or she may plan ahead and prepare for the appropriate number of subject tests. The College Board website provides information on each of the subject tests including test dates, concepts covered, and sample problems. www.collegeboard.com
